Likes: Wonderful heat output! Once a good fire has been started, the iron heats up, and the damper is closed, this unit has the capability of warming our living room, dining room, and the upstairs - sometimes too warm. Gives our local gas and electricity utilities extreme sadness when it is started. Have not had a fault with this unit to date.

Dislikes: Even with damper closed and air control minimized, have to feed stove approximately every 3 hours so not the best for overnight applications.

Comments: Glass blackens over time - but still cleans up well with Windex or Fireplace glass cleaner. Have received raves from neighbors and friends on the efficiency of this unit. With fire burning I've even had people ask if this was a gas unit due to the unique flame pattern when damper and air controls are enabled.
