Cook top, reasonably priced, looks good.
Some what small fire box (22" wide but not tall enough), blower too loud on high (fine medium to low).
This unit really puts out the heat. Our house is cinder block on concrete slab and used to radiate the cold. Now it's like a toasty brick oven that holds the penetrating warmth of the insert. Plenty of coals from overnight burn to stoke a fire 8-9 hours later. Only need to run the blower on medium for a short time during peak burn to warm up our entire house. We wanted the larger C310 but the factory tech at Country Stoves said not to, it would be more stove/insert than we need. I'm glad we got the smaller one as it can easily make it too hot in a hurry! Installation with a full chimney reline was an easy half day job for the dealer/installer who was very helpful and did a great job as well as following up to make sure we were happy and getting the hang of our new insert. Needless to say we couldn't be any happier, I highly recommend Country Stoves and their dealers.
