Does all it advertises and more. Heats a Tennessee Home easily and cheaply. Puts out tons of heat. Ties easily into central heating system. Very stingy on wood usage. Heats water as well as heats home. Built Charmaster Tough.
BULKY Takes up a lot of floor space. In less cold climates is harder to control it wants to heat too well. Pretty noisy blower. Not as easy to clean and operate as advertised has a fairly high learning curve for best operation.
I love my Charmaster but if the Temperature is above 45 Degrees it tends to overheat my home. It is bulky but the construction is very safety oriented. When the unit is running its hottest you can put your hands on the sides without fear. Only the front and rear are hot. The Dual smoke exhaust system makes the unit so efficient that you can control how much heat you lose up the smoke stack. This system is the answer for an add on wood furnace.
