Likes: Produces great heat. Haven't turned on the furnace yet and its january!

Dislikes: Eats a lot of wood. I am using Madroin too which is supposed to be better than Oak so I've heard. Definitely not 12 hours either. It definetly heats for 12 hours with hot coals and the fan on, but it seems that in order for the quadrafire to "quadrafire" it takes some consistant high temperatures which just cook the wood pretty quickly. Especially if you don't want the emmissions. I have had it for a month, so maybe I haven't gotten the technique down.

Comments: In general I am happy with the unit. I just wish the wood would last longer. I go through about 12 logs a day. Is that to much? or about right. I wouldn't know. This is my first stove.
