12 hour burn is easy,(using red oak) with a good heat output, loads easy from top,ash pan on rollers makes easy removal, glass stays fairly clean(some white tint on glass after breaking in,can still view fire ok).
When I bought the stove the draft plate hit on the cast iron ash pan holder, causing the stove to suck air, burned way to hot,I tore it down, and ground it down with a slag grinder,re installed the draft plate and it now works well.heavy cast iron parts are held together with one quarter inch bolts,I feel there to small, and spaced to far apart.
I feel the manufacturing on this model is for the most part, very well, how ever it was assembled poorly. The looks and function on this model,I am very pleased with.(after working on it myself).
