Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): | House Size (Sq feet):
Bought in 2004 , Price Paid: 1700
Location : Missoula, Monta , United States
Purchased from: Home Center/Hardware - The Axmen

Likes: Back when we bought, pellets were relatively cheap. Unlike the Yuppies, who fad-buy these type of "decorative accessories", we NEED the heat. I expect pellet prices to be triple what they were just 3-4 seasons ago.
The stove has run relatively well w/no breakdowns.

Dislikes: Manufacturer passes buck to retailer, who may or may not know what they're talking about. Each person at ours has a different answer, part, etc. so who do you trust . . . with your heat in Montana?
Also, these things are major dust creators. ( not just QF Santa Fe, but ALL the pellets stoves I've owned)

Comments: I wish we had some kind of back-up heat, as I feel the stove is always one minor part malfunction away from dying.
I'd collect 2 of every important part . . . including door.window gasket, which seems to need replacing every season.
