Likes: good looking stove

Dislikes: provides absolutely no heat output. incapable of heating 300 sq ft room. tried to get dealer to look, he refuses and says this is normal stove performance. US distributor will not take stove back. I would not advise this product to anyone requiring the ability to maintain 65 degrees in a room that is gas heated with the thermostat set at 60 degrees. Stove also only allows 12 -14 inch wood and you have to reload every 6 to 8 hours. convection system does not seem to be efficient, or air bypass is too large so heat goes up chimney. Local property inspector who saw stove in operation says: it burns great, but where is the heat? I dont know.

Comments: its a nice showpiece. and it was an early model. But the lack of dealer service combined with the manufacturer refusing to service an obviously defective stove is very much different from the concept of a trusted 400 year old respected stove manufacturer. I would suggest that any one dealing with a wood stove dealer to have in writing exactly what they will do guarantee if your stove does not work as advertised. I would also search the internet for reviews of the dealer's service. they exist and i learned too late.
