Likes: Long, Steady burns, even heat. Beautiful and very functional woodstove. Easy to keep fires going and relight after an all night burn.

Dislikes: Takes longer to warm up when first starting a fire compared with a non soapstone stove - but the long burn times and steady heat output more than make up for this!

Comments: We heat our large home with this woodstove alone when the temperatures are above 25F. During the day, the upstairs bedroom doors stay closed, then we open them before bedtime to allow the heat to move into the room. When the temp drops to around zero F, we warm up the house with our furnace once at dawn, and maybe once more before bed, and the stove does the rest. This stove exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love it.
