Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 300 | House Size (Sq feet): 2800

Location : Manorville, NY 11949, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Dunrite Chimney and Stove

Likes: Olympic has a large firebox that can fit wood up to 24'' across and it's about as deep as most ordinary stoves are wide, so you can fit some large loads in there. Large glass area enables you to see the entire firebox, great for viewing the fire and secondary burn. This insert puts out a lot of heat.

Dislikes: Had some issues with the air intake handle, after a few short months from purchase, it became difficult to adjust and squeaky. Also the pin/clip that holds the secondary burn tubes in place came out at some point and the tube was misaligned and rolling around in place. The dealer came back and fixed both. Sprayed WD40 inside the air intake channel to quiet it down and replaced the clip I suppose.

Comments: I did a lot of research before purchase and this is the stove that fit my needs, it heats the whole house, which is 2500 + sq ft.For use as an insert, the blower is a must. It pumps out the heat into the room a great deal more than natural convection or radiation.
