Likes: Put's out a ton of heat.

Dislikes: Burn times aren't as long as claimed.

Comments: We had this installed to combat the price of oil during the summer of 2008. The insert heats pretty much my whole house. The room the insert is in gets up to 78-80 degrees and the rest of the house stays about 10 degrees cooler. I love to burn fires, it's a real passion. Now it's nice that we're putting heat back into the house rather than taking it out with the open fireplace. The blower really made a difference distributing the heat through out the house. Before we had the blower installed I felt like the mantle and hearth area was getting too hot. Over all I'm pleased with our purchase, I would do it again. But like I mentioned earlied, the burn time is more like 2-3 hours per load of wood, not 7-9 hours like the dealer said.
