Likes: Nice looking, flush with the fireplace. Everything sounded good about how it would perform to heat 1800 sq ft, how long it would burn, radiant heat.

Dislikes: Smoke comes right out the front door when you start it up, and sometimes after is it very hot. Does not stay burning all night no matter how much wood we put in, I would say burn time at night is 3 - 4 hrs max. with full box. Fan goes off thats it, once fan goes off there is no heat. Had to have spark arrester removed after 2mos of use, it was clogged up.

Comments: Installed late November 2008 Consistent problems with smoke bellowing in the room, which started after the first week ,always when you start it up and often when you put in more wood, also flu is open. Fan has a mind of its own it turns off when you have a very hot fire, then you have to switch on manual , there is no heat unless you have the fan on high at all times. Once it heats up which takes a good 3 to 4 hrs it will warm the room of 850sq ft to 74 & 76. But once you open the doors to the kitchen or bedrooms the heat, if you open the door drops and barely gets to even one bedroom. The flow into the kitchen is okay after you get LR up to 72degress but still need to have fireplace going in the kitchen too. I am not happy with the smoke debri in my LR. If you pay this much money you want to be warm.
