Likes: Great looks - especially when NOT in use

Dislikes: Very poor design. Interior roof ramps up towards front and is flush with front opening so its impossible to open door without all smoke spilling into room. Large front glass looks great but soots up very easily (with that much surface area you\'d need a super hot fire to clean it off). Flue control does not offer enough range - need to crack the door to get a fire going initially and it doesn\'t close down completely so when stove not in use you\'re always losing warm room air up the chimney (or worse sucking cold air back down). Very disappointed in Vermont Casting as all of these issues had to be very apparent in their initial testing but they chose to release the stove anyway. Bottom line - DO NOT BUY and Stay away from Vermont Castings in general as I would no longer trust them as a company
