Likes: Great looking...Furniture piece
Easy to use
quiet fan

Dislikes: It takes 45 minutes of a good fire before the blower turns on (auto)

Comments: I have been burning wood for 10 years. I have had a resolute acclaim (dont buy) and an outdoor wood boiler (previous house). I would buy this insert again if I had the choice. This is one of easiest stoves to run and install and it looks great. The blower is quiet on the low setting and on high it sounds like a desktop computer. If you are going to be a casual burner and have a small home (under 1500) you might try the HI200. The HI300 does stick out from the hearth (which helps with radiating heat if the blower is not on) but it does take longer to heat up due to its mass. I can easily get 8 hour burns from it. I have raked hot coals from it 18 hours after the last loading. I looked at the Jotul 450 (nice insert) but this one was much less.
