Likes:
pipes stay very clean burning 1 -2 face cords per month.great heat, lights very easy leaving ash door cracked open.holds good coals up to 8 hrs.extra large double doors.glass is beautiful touch.
Dislikes:
air damper works poorly won\'t slide smoothly. glass needs daily cleaning.ash pan small must empty daily when running full time.
Comments:
this stove replaced upland 207 that stove blew us out of house for 20yrs. 85 plus dreeg\'s.the jotul is much more controlable i can hold 75-78 when its 0-10 outside.i use 10-15 face cors per year.I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS STOVE for serious wood heating.i took air damper apart did some milling works better.my inside stove pipe is 5\' verticle with 1 90el then into block flue lined chimney has a whirl sound when burning 350-500 which seems to be good stove temps.
