Easy to use and nice aesthetics. Good heat for a limited area. Seems very efficient with little creosote issue. Nice unit with one nagging problem!
Dislikes:
And the problem is the door latch. Seems a design flaw to me with steel latching on cast. Thankfully our dealer (super people) have replaced the latch 6 times in 6 years. The door and mounting plate as well due to a bad cast so they said. When worn, the latch will not work at all. A very dangerous problem if not addressed immediately. We have it down to a science, hope others are aware as there can be little warning of a problem. A potentially dangerous problem.
Comments:
We burn only dry wood of 14\" as it works better in this and our Jotul F 100 Nordic. I would not recommend buying this or any stove from anyone other than a local dealer. It may cost more but the service is worth it.
