Beautiful Stove. Gets lots of praise by friends & family.
Overall, the stove is not very well coordinated. Too much focus was spent on usage of top load door (which I quickly found I don't like or use). The double front doors are a pain since one has no handle and the other has a removeable handle. The catalyst control is in BACK of stove meaning you have to use the removeable handle to open the catalyst in back, then use it to open the doors in front. (Now where did I lay that handle anyway....) Fixed handles would be a definite improvement. My stove has leaks that are going to have to be filled, and the manufacturer's use of stove cement to assemble the stove was very sloppily done.Manufacturer claims 24" logs are possible, but they are difficult to get into stove. Firebox is very small. The top load door works, but is somewhat awkward to use, and logs do not go in as easily as front loading.
I was excited about getting this stove, but after using it am somewhat discouraged at the prospect of putting up with all of the annoyances listed above in the long term.
