Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 500 | House Size (Sq feet): 2000
Bought in 2009 , Price Paid: 2500
Location : Newmarket, ON , Canada
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Hearth and Home

Likes: Once the heat builds up it burns well and puts out a good amount of heat (used as a secondary heat source). Glass stays clean as advertised. Heat activated fan is desirable.

Dislikes: Unacceptably noisy fan. Can be difficult to light if there is a down draft (requiring a lot of paper to get it heated up).

Comments: We are very pleased with this purchase. Previously, with an open hearth fireplace we rarely used it but the insert is typically going every night allowing us to keep the furnace at a lower temperature but still keep toasty warm however I do believe it be sufficient as a primary heat source (unless one would accept a more tepid house temperature.
