Stove is pretty, has a screen you can put it to watch the fire. I like the top load feature. I like the ash pan. We have cooked on top with cast iron skillets and it worked well.
Dislikes:
I HATE this stove. It is a cat stove. Never again will I have one. Always fiddling with it, watching stove temps, flipping levers to add wood or engage CAT. Stove would be good for occasional burn. NOT for a regular heat source. NO overnight burns.
Comments:
I had this stove setting on the hearth, connected with a stainless steel chimney liner. Firebox too small to do anything with. Just good for occasional looks like when you have company over. Pick a different stove. This one is a dud.
