Likes:
Ease of use, capacity, heat retention, build quality, extreme burn times, side door, and air control.
Dislikes:
absolutely none. This has exceeded my highest expectation. Ash grate lever is a bit tricky.
Comments:
There are virtually no reviews of the Equinox, probably because the stove is so large and expensive. Like the website says, it is a workhorse. It is the biggest, baddest out there. It heats a high desert home with 25 foot ceilings and all window. However, it is also highly adjustable and puts out a comfortable, soothing heat. I just put the fan on with the central heating system to circulate the air from the warm rooms to the rest of the house. I can't stress how impressed I am with this piece of equipment, and it doesn't have the ash pan issues that others complain about with the Mansfield (which I don't have).
