Love the unit. I burn in the evenings and overnight. With some practice I have achieved 10 hr burns, and 8 hr burns are pretty easy. I mean that the stove is still warm, the blower is still on, and the fire starts back up easily with the addition of a few splits. The fire is easy to control with the single air control rod. Blower is quiet on low, which is where I run it. Unit seems generally well-built. The brown enamel finish is attractive. Glass is easy to keep clean except for a small area in the corner -doesn't bother me. Secondary burn is easy to achieve with dry wood.
I think the enamel finish looks great, but decreases the thermal conduction of the top plate. The top surface routinely gets up to 300F+, but I can't get water to boil in a teapot to generate some humidity. Water in a flat pan evaporates pretty quick, so that works, but I just thought a teapot for humidity would be nice.
I love the Hampton, but if I had to do it again, I think I would go with an even bigger unit to get up to the 14 hr burn time range. Also, I would have insisted on a block off plate if had known any better. All in all I am very happy with the purchase.
