Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 200 | House Size (Sq feet): 1900
Bought in 2012 , Price Paid: 750
Location : Winthrop, MA 02152, USA
Purchased from: Mail Order/Internet Retailer - NorthEastern

Likes: Small firebox but you go through less wood. Seems to be very efficient - warms up quick.
Easy to install due to size and weight.
Competitively priced but quality appears good.
Can take 20" long splits.
The secondary burn is excellent when drafted down low. Flames are lazy and burn times are extended.

Dislikes: Circulation fan is noisy - vibrates.
For the purchase price this unit is hard to beat.

Comments: CFM Century I believe is now SBI and rebrands several brands.
They are out of Canada so the money at least stays on the North American continent.
The quality vs cost I think they have done a great job. Large viewing glass stays pretty clean with the airwash. Yes this is a smaller size firebox but they now offer a larger unit this year. This smaller unit is perfect for the installed location at my parents house 'on' the Atlantic Ocean. It easily prevents the oil furnace from turning on - but 2011-2012 winter was not as harsh. Time will tell.
