Comments: This is second Large model. First purchased at Bodmers Stoves, Buckeystown MD. Very nice store. It was used in a sub-terr basement, finished, approx 600 sq. ft with low ceilings. We followed a daily routine of burning stove hot for 15 mins, stove pipe temps at 550-600 deg, then close down. No creosote buildup at all. Avg temps in basement over 85deg. (too warm) managed to keep 1750 sq ft house upstairs pretty comfy. Next house we built with 500 sq ft great room, 23' ceilings, loft and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The large could only keep upstairs temps to 72deg (burning pretty hot, 4 hrs max.) We will get an x-large for this room, and move large to the basement (which will be finished eventually)
