Likes: terrific heat retention in a meduim-sized stove; easy, monkey-see-monkey-do operation; good web site to spec out all models.

Dislikes: manufacturer's installation of door gaskets was apparently screwy... either the glue had dried up and failed, or the gaskets were installed before the stove was painted... the gaskets were smeared with paint and, when heated the very first time, stuck to the stove and had to be replaced. the single-handle method (ceramic insert used on each 'stub' handle of doors and dampers) gets to be a drag; wish a separate, already-attached handle existed for each function.

Comments: friend has next size up (8" flu) and loves it. sand hill in peterboro, nh is a decent place to look at various manufacturers & models; not sure of how they compete on price.
