Likes: I have never used wood before - my husband gave me some rough pointers and turned me loose. This stove is WONDERFUL. Catalytic, which worried me at first, but I almost never have visible smoke coming out my chimney. Amazingly clean burning once the catalyst is hot. Very user friendly, damper, catalyst air control and air wahs all are simple to understand and operate. Ash tray makes clean-up easy.

Comments: Although rated for a nine hour burn time, I have not gotten more than five out of it, stuffed. Not quite sure what magic wand they used to get nine hours - we let it go out overnight so the oil furnace can heat the basement. If it were our only source of heat we'd never get a good night's sleep. My husband even tried, and he's the experienced one.
