It's a very nice looking stove. Very big door for loading. Handles large diameter and long splits. 18 inch log length good for north/south or east/west loading.
Ash pan is a pain, I just use a shovel instead. The stove is a cube, I'd prefer a similar size stove (firebox capacity) but with rectangular dimensions. Rear clearance is quite a distance compared to Equinox and Heritage.
The owner's manual needs clarification.
No factory support. If you don't like the stove dealer, don't buy the stove. You need to be happy with the folks you are buying the stove from.
In general, I'm very happy with the stove. I got the brown enameled trim and it is very good looking in our home. It throws a lot of heat. I installed a damper on the "outside air kit" to prevent over-firing. The "outside air kit" requires a little tailoring with a grinder to allow the primary air control to have full function. Get an Infared thermometer or a thermometer specific to soapstone. You'll be glad you did.
