Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): Cellar | House Size (Sq feet): 1800
Bought in 1998 , Price Paid: 1200
Location : Monson, Ma. , USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Higgins energy

Likes: We have this in the basement,(unfinished) and the heat that goes up is enough to sleep comfortably in the second floor, about 60 degrees. Chimney and flues stay cleaner with cat. conv. Basement is now the hot spot.

Dislikes: Cat. Conv. seem not to last very long. 2 sometimes 3 years. We also cannot keep a stove thermometer (inserted in top of stove) for more than one season. Gasket material around side loading door needs to be repaired frequently.

Comments: This is our second unit, because this one has a bigger and better filling/burning chamber. Since we have burned wood for over 20 years, we will be looking for a pellet stove in the near future as our next purchase.
