Likes: Great stove once you figure our the controls (1 week).
Uses 1/2 the wood I did before with other stove and more heat
Overnight burns with coals and hot stove in morning
No chimney (creosote) issues

Dislikes: Wish the loading door was larger
Window stays fairly clean, however, cleaning it is difficult through the small wood door and due to the andirons. It would be great is the andirons could be removed easily for cleaning.
Stove controls on the back...... reaching behnd a 500 degree stove to adjust air input is not fun. Would be better if controls were on the side or front.

Comments: I was hesitant about switching from my former stove (Avalon Rainer) to a catalytic stove. Must have spent 10hrs reading pros and cons on this and other websites. It took me about one week to figure out the stove / catalytic converter and since then the stove is a real joy.
