Likes:
Small footprint & close clearances allowed installation in a fairly tight area.
Great looking stove - important for install in living room
Puts out some major heat
Love the cast iron - the entire stove just feels high quality.
Dislikes:
Can be hard to control with tall chimneys/too much draft. Recommend a pipe damper.
Glass tends to get dirty right around the door handle penetration - no biggie.
Comments:
The stove is a little undersized for the house, and I kind of knew that when I selected it, but was limited in my choice of models by where it had to fit. Even so, so far in a 2-story moderately drafty farmhouse, I've been able to heat with it 100% through 2 winters. With practice, I'm able to have plenty of coals to relight after 12 hours and can get significant heat for 6-7 hours in many cases. Love this stove!
