This stove is very easy to clean! It's takes a plastic bottle brush that's all. The parts inside total 3 not including the fire bricks. The steel tubes I don't count either because they do not need to be removed for cleaning inside the stove. The tubes are only removed for replacement. This is a very well built stove.
If u have wood that has a moisture content over 10% (use a moisture meter) the door will need cleaned often. Low fume oven cleaner works the best! Another drawback is the stove does not have an ash drawer. Some ash and coals needs to be removed after burning a large load of wood or two. Something to consider.
From what I understand, a fire brick needs to be removed on types with an ash drawer in order to access the port that allows the ash to empty into the lower drawer. I'm not sure that would be an option I would consider if that is the case.
I don't have any complaints about this stove.
