Likes:
Easy lighting, very good efficient firebox design WITHOUT catalyst, heavy gasket on single
door gives true airtight performance, holds a fire easily overnight with hardwoods, still has
good morning coals for restarting with pine.

Comments:
I've built and used a lot of stoves over the years, including catalyst units. I heat my
house mainly with pine, around 2-3 cords a year, and passive solar gain. This unit sits
in a centrally located masonry fireplace; I had to trim out the old Heatolator jacket to fit
it into the masonry; once you start cutting you're committed! I've not see an easier to
use or more well designed unit. No bs, just a solid, efficient stove. I don't even use
the fan; between radiation from the front and into my masonry, and convection from the
old jacket vents, it's great.
