Likes: The unit itself is easy to operate. The built in diagnostics help greatly with troubleshooting. The ignitor they make these days for it is much more reliable. Overall it is a nice boiler.

Dislikes: Small hopper. You might think 200lbs is big but if you are using this as primary heat for the house like i am you will have to fill the boiler daily.


Comments: There is a add on hopper for the pb105 that harman sells that takes up a 3x3x3 area and holds a lot more pellets so if you plan around that the boiler and expansion can hold a couple days worth of pellets. If i had it to do again that is what i would do myself.
Do not rely on the built in overheat protection for the unit. Mine was garbage from day 1. Use a aquastat for overheat protection or something similar.
