Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 625 | House Size (Sq feet): 1750
Bought in 2004 , Price Paid: 3500
Location : Bay City, Orego 97107, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Sheridan Hearth and Heating

Likes: Unit has run for about 9 years and have had to have no service. Puts out enough heat to keep the whole house (two story) warm.

Dislikes: I wish we never purchased this stove. It is so noisy from the poor design of the outside features. The front side pieces rattle so much so we can't hear the TV in the same room. The surround which hides the fireplace opening also rattles. The installers had no clue on how to quiet the rattling side panels. I finally had to go to the hardware store and buy some hi temp silicone sealer and "glue" them to the unit which only partially helped. It is an attractive stove to look at, but it isn't worth the noise.

Comments: I will never buy a quadrafire again. When I called I got nowhere with them. "Contact the installer." Of course, the installer was the first person I talked with and he pointed his finger at them.
