Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 500 | House Size (Sq feet): 2500
Bought in 2000 , Price Paid: 629.00
Location : Leonardtown, MD 20650, United States
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Fireplace and Patio Wald

Likes: Good looking stove. Easy to operate. Ashpan and cooktop are nice features. Average burn time is close to what manufacturer states. I like the way the thermostat helps to control the draft

Dislikes: Door latch mechanism is not very substantial (seems to be working ok). I should have made my own heat shield instead of purchasing V.C's for $39.00

Comments: A good basic stove, reasonably priced. We have the stove in a large kitchen area. The ceilings are at least 9ft. 1920's farmhouse, average insulation. The stove keeps the kitchen around 75-80 degrees when the outside temp. is 25-30. Don't be deceived by the Aspen's small size. Make sure your wife eats her Wheaties, my wife was barely able to get the stove into the house!!
