The units starts automatically when needed, It is attractive, the stove will maitain a steady temp all the time. Currently is the main source of heat for my house. i do have eletric heat but do not need it. The stove will heat the entire house.
The glass requires cleaning at least once a week and the burn pot needs scraping every two days or so depending on use. The auto ignition will not function if the carbon scale builds up on the bottom of the burn pot.
To date the stove is wonderful but i do wish I had sunk the 2800$ into a new oil central heat system to replace the electric heat in the house. On a cold day the sove will go through 40 pounds of pellets to maintain 70 deg., have to get use to loading the stove daily in January and Febuary. looks like 2 tons of pellets will be required to heat this winter at $150 per ton.
