Likes:
Excellent heat/cord. Compact size, but will readily take a decent 16" chunk of wood. Even on slow burns chimney stays reasonably clean. Does a good job of heating most of our home.
Dislikes:
Cast iron takes a little more maintainence than steel. This model seems to have a tendency to overfire with the wrong amount of wood split to the wrong size. Stove originally purchased sloppily assembled and leaked air like a sieve. Factory rep remedied this quickly.
Comments:
Despite a rough start with the dealer, the stove has been a good investment, and Jotul was good to work with when contacted. No matter what your dealer says, you DO need a DAMPER in your chimney pipe with this little feller.
