Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 900 | House Size (Sq feet): 900
Bought in 1994 , Price Paid: $999
Location : ashford, CT 6278, United States
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - pipe dream hearth & patio

Likes: stove takes up much less space in room. Catalytic combuster keeps chimney much cleaner-must clean once a season versus once a month with old stove

Dislikes: does not burn as long as manufacturer claims-5 hours per load.(been burning wood since 1977)handles get very hot if mounted to stove. Catalytic combustor must be replaced every 3-4 years thermostat too.

Comments: if you notice that it takes longer and longer to get stove up to temp-500F check combustor/thermostat. parts take 2-3 weeks to get from manufacturer and dealer doesn't seem to have combustor when you need them
