    clean cast iron

    Actually I bought a trivet and assumed the little rubber feet were made for something hot. They melted to the top of the stove and made a real mess.

    I skipped the spacers and went with metal studs. While they DESTROY drill bits to get them installed properly, they also give you much more support...

    Oh hey that looks like where I was awhile back. I bought a defiant 1910 for $600 (cat). Compared to gramps smokedragon on the farm it's fantastic....

    All most out of wood!!!

    You can do that if you have an old smoke dragon, or a catalytic stove you want to clean all the time. You'll make a real mess out of it.

    That's actually how we manage my kids room. He's in the room furthest from the woodstove and the room also tends to run cold for whatever reason....
