    It needs to be secured at the front side,opposite the bricks. You could try wire staples (like for 14/2 wire) I have used them to secure carpet.

    I'm doing an out and up metalbestos chimney in an insulated chase. Should I vent the chase for condensation, on not vent to keep the pipe warm?
