    Yes I clean it out all the time by removing the plates and reallly vacumming it out. I never heard of the leaf blower trick but I'm going to search...

    HOLY CRAP !!!! I started it that way and it ran for about 5 minutes then all hell broke loose the combustion fan never started and it just poured...
