Needed to tidy up.
I have this stack that is severely heading south. The plan is to bring it in, in 3-4 weeks. Not so sure if it will stay upright that long. So, today...
An ash tree tha mother nature took down and leaves me to exercise some caution getting this one down.
Did a bit of stacking, now I can do some more splitting.
I was concerned with the lean on this cherry of dropping on my stacks and making more work for me. So now it will be firewood and cooking wood....
Took the cobwebs off the splitter and got busy for an hour or so. Had I nice surprise of a restacking job when I went out this morning.
Although a bit early to bring some wood inside, I needed some where to put up some fresh splits. So it was moving day.
Now to get some splitting...
I need a little help on this one. Could not find any leaves to help on the ID.

Poor Doug and I grabed what was left on the ground from the oak, pine scrounge Saturday.
I recieved a call @ about 5pm, come and get before someone else. All red oak.
Already bucked up, rolled it right on.
This all endend up at Poor...
Cool front finally came through,with some comfortable temps, and lower humidity. In direct sun, the pores were still open.

Sunday, loaded up this load and brought it to it's new home.
