I have found no smoke from my stove burning softies, kind of weird that you have smoke.
The Somersets also have a funny glue like smell. Post the UPC for JTakeman to check out. Maybe the same pellet.

I am burning the CF Pacific blend which on the bag states, 100% softwood. And as far as I can tell, they are!
One of the reasons i burn softies is for the great wood smell. I will pass on these.:p
Jay, any idea on this years Cleaanfire Pacifics? I heard they were made by Pinnacle. UPC website comes up blank. They are excellent this year.

Thanks for the info. Measured 1 ounce more ash than the LG Softies with the same heat output so far. I agree seems like a good shoulder pellet.
