Long story short, I used it 4 times and it died. I read the manual and followed it to the letter.
The "Elg" is basically a turbulator.
Its got a secondary air path underneath the firebox.

The Elg is a great stove. It takes a 24" log easy and burns about 7 hours when full.
Additionally, I have lined the stove floor with firebrick.
I didn't see it mentioned regarding chimney height. The manual states a minimum chimney height of 15' from the base of the appliance.
