It was... It was not only cool. But HUGE!

They have an IMAX Theater there. We saw "Rescue" . One of the actors was there. She flew a C-17 and her grandfather and father were both pilots. Along with her brother and Husband.

Very good times... Well worth the drive. 2012-04-28_13-30-57_296.jpg 2012-04-28_11-37-04_572.jpg

Yea, that museum is awesome. I shot a lot of pictures when I was there. Your picture of the 'Peashooter' is really good. My only complaint would be that the lighting was not bright enough to get good sharp pictures without a really fast lens.

Nice, my (younger) brother retired from the Air Force 6 years ago down in Florida. He and his wife travelled the world, he is now collecting his pension working at a base, has a nice house, wife (with a great job) and three kids.

    What year is it?
    What size motor?
    What deck size?

Looks to be a few yrs old, w/ the old deck lift system? (Is it electric lift). Looks like a 60" deck.

With only 50 hrs, it definitely wasn't used commercially. Homeowner operated and cared for. If the oil looks clean, the motor doesn't tick, knock, and smoke... Make sure it cuts flat. Blades can be sharpened, but if they are bent and need replaced, then deduct that from the cost.

Also see if those jackshafts, accept the dual blade system. It will have an "X" blade (regular) and a "Twist" blade (extra mulching blade). It helps to double cut and also aids in cutting very moist grass. I also feel like it keeps more inertia in the blade. Takes more or deeper grass to slow it down.

Dixies are a very fast and quality cutting mower. A new 60" w/ 27 HP is somewhere around $9,000 (depending on options).

When bought new, they come with great warranties. 5 yrs on a lot of parts and Lifetime warranty on a bunch of others (frame, all stainless, deck, etc). Maybe see if thats transferable.

What are they asking? PM if necessary ..

They cut amazingly well. Went from about 3 hrs cut time, down to 1 hr. Cutting about 3.5-4 acres... 2012-04-21_19-29-42_171.jpg yard1.jpg
