Heck, I set my thermostat at 60 degrees! If I feel chilly, I put on a sweater!
Another frost here tonight, already did a packy run time to toss in another bag.
It snowed for about 2 minutes this morning here. Frost/Freeze warning the last couple weeks on and off.
Just picked up some Yuengling's and some Bud Light Platinum (not a fan) for the Wife.
Went to Dayton today with the Cub Scouts (Weblos) to the Air Force Base and Museum. 3 hrs drive there, 7 hrs spent there, and 3 hrs back. Been waitin for a Cold One All Day! !! My 1st day of vacation, kicked off at 6 a.m..... My Feet hurt and I am sooooo Thirsty
That's a pretty cool museum (if I remeber correctly)...If you ever get a chance, they put on a heck of an Air show there!
It was... It was not only cool. But HUGE!
They have an IMAX Theater there. We saw "Rescue" . One of the actors was there. She flew a C-17 and her grandfather and father were both pilots. Along with her brother and Husband.
Very good times... Well worth the drive.
Yea, that museum is awesome. I shot a lot of pictures when I was there. Your picture of the 'Peashooter' is really good. My only complaint would be that the lighting was not bright enough to get good sharp pictures without a really fast lens.
Busch Light???? Good thing there's a abundant supply of panthers..........
Nice, my (younger) brother retired from the Air Force 6 years ago down in Florida. He and his wife travelled the world, he is now collecting his pension working at a base, has a nice house, wife (with a great job) and three kids.
Could be one of those nights tonight, dead soldiers already.
Are you teasing me Joe! hahaha... Im hoping to head your way on Fri or Sat (ill call beforehand to confirm).
Freezing our ass off up here in New England this week but its lookin' mighty warm over at Joe's...
No not teasing , putting the stove to good use , let me know when you can make it.
Mad Dog, what would be a good price for this, only has 50 hrs. Wanna grab it before smoke sees it.
I can't afford toys like that.
What year is it?
What size motor?
What deck size?
Looks to be a few yrs old, w/ the old deck lift system? (Is it electric lift). Looks like a 60" deck.
With only 50 hrs, it definitely wasn't used commercially. Homeowner operated and cared for. If the oil looks clean, the motor doesn't tick, knock, and smoke... Make sure it cuts flat. Blades can be sharpened, but if they are bent and need replaced, then deduct that from the cost.
Also see if those jackshafts, accept the dual blade system. It will have an "X" blade (regular) and a "Twist" blade (extra mulching blade). It helps to double cut and also aids in cutting very moist grass. I also feel like it keeps more inertia in the blade. Takes more or deeper grass to slow it down.
Dixies are a very fast and quality cutting mower. A new 60" w/ 27 HP is somewhere around $9,000 (depending on options).
When bought new, they come with great warranties. 5 yrs on a lot of parts and Lifetime warranty on a bunch of others (frame, all stainless, deck, etc). Maybe see if thats transferable.
What are they asking? PM if necessary ..
Living on the water maybe I need something like this
I'll let you know, gonna give him a call later, he is a friend of mine and has an earth care business.
They cut amazingly well. Went from about 3 hrs cut time, down to 1 hr. Cutting about 3.5-4 acres...
