Things need to liven up around here, tonights a drinking night for me (just like every other), Don has taken over the pellet world. Mad Dog is chopping his lawn, Smoke must be at a Hockey game.I'm headed off-shore Monday for work (10 days) no alcohol (unless weather is nasty and we pull into port). Big party Saturday, my redneck brother was on a job in Maryland he is renting a car for the weekend to visit before he flys back home to the panhandle Sunday.

And people thought I was nuts for being on a submarine. No way would I want to spend 10 days out in the Atlantic on a 76 ft. ship. Hats off to you, my friend. Be careful out there. I'll drink your share while you're gone.

It has gotten a little boring on here lately...Have to do my year end cleaning, But the wife isn't ready, she had the stove on yesterday!

I was ship's engineer on a 300' fish processor. Once, I went on one of our 125' fishing boats to diagnose some engine problems, that really sucked, we were in the Bearing sea and that thing was bouncing every which way! Never again! I moved on to oil tankers and container ships, much smoother ride!

Cores it was. Trip ended up being 12 days, we were forced to stay at The Atlantic Highlands for a couple of days due to the weather. Not much to do there except see the Avengers in 3D, I recommend that movie to all. Will post photo's tomorrow, looking forward to a great nights sleep in my own bed, if the wifey lets me
