Yep.. Just a Red Plastic Cup. Just enough to hold 2 shots of Rum, a can of pop, and top off with ice... I gotta get up at 4:30. I gotta stop. Last bit and I am off....

Not a Red Solo Cup... Those Beers are in the fridge for another day. Not everyday. But the day I feel like one (pretty often).

Yep, I had my can of 'cleaning alcohol' (95 proof) in my top secret safe. At the end of a patrol, we filled up a tub with orange juice, dumped in all the Doc's medicinal booze, and then emptied the huge jars of maraschino cherries that were soaking in torpedo juice for 2 months or more into the mix. The Captain and XO were so drunk I couldn't wake them up to get permission to come to periscope depth!!!! I suspect times have achanged! :)

ha ha ha. Man, it HAS been a loooong time. I forgot 'bug juice' too. I'm losing it! Too much booze and too many years. I wouldn't trade it for anything, though.

I thought you told me it was bilge water you used as a mixer tj, now I'm confused and I know it isn't the leftover ale I had from the bottling operation this morning. I think it'll turn out just great once it carbonates and sits for a bit.

I don't know about that one, Smokey. The bilges on my boat were about 75% hydraulic/lube oil. Even torpedo juice can't kill that.

Yea, pretty nasty. I was drunk a lot but never enough to sample the bilge brew! Back then, just about anything was tolerated as long as the job got done and everyone got along. It was one big, great family that worked and played together. It's nothing like that now.

Beer and pizza for supper, beer and hockey for entertainment.

Oh and btw it was happy hour at the pub/grill and we won the game.

Defeated an Ohio team. :) And were presented the cup for the most regular season wins. :)
