According to this month's Cycle World, the military version of the KLR650 gets 100MPG, 0-60 in less than 10 seconds and 90+ MPH on diesel.

Civilian production is being discussed.

And I thought I was doing good getting 50-55 mpg riding cross country on a Suzuki 1000.
