Started on the 13/14 wood supply today.

Great to start in January on a beautiful day in the woods.

Good for you Gerry. Getting it cut now will mean good wood in 2013-2014 winter.

usually I don't get started until March.

If I get some more cuttin' days I'll get to my spring projects sooner

I don't even think of messing with firewood other than burning it once winter hits. It's no fun at all freezing my tail off! I wonder how well a saw would run at -20* anyhow?

Keep the saw inside and then no problems cutting at -20 except for keeping the fingers and toes warm.

I'm only cutting now because it's 35-45 deg and sunny with no snow in my woods. ie March/April conditions
