been restoring anything metal for 30yrs, never did a wood stove, when opportunity arouse, I wanted to give it a whirl to find out time and materials. simply put, since this was for a good friend, It was not worth it (beauty is in the eye of the owner). Short story- went to pick this up and it collapsed, through bolts rotted since this stove sat on deck for outdoor heat. Hand made 4pcs of 1/4x 14 bolts with annealed heads. re fitted draft control plate (air intake), media blasted every sq in.

That's a handsome little box stove! Looks like it was really made for burning coal, probably used as a laundry stove originally.
