I’ve been hauling in Cottonwood this shoulder season and didn’t realize how light that stuff was until it got cold and I needed some “real” wood. The Pictures show My son TJ standing on a scale holding 40 lbs of Beech and then 40 lbs of Cottonwood. The poor kid has to put up with a lot from me. They were all 16” splits and everything was seasoned 3 full years. It’s amazing how well that Cottonwood has heated my house with the Progress. One load per day is all I have needed so far, temps averaging mid 30’s. Now get those splits in the house TJ!
