Hello

Does anyone think that the prices are kept competitive between fuels??

Even so do you agree that we do have more control over Wood Pellets and Wood because we can buy pellets and chop wood in the summer and beat these other guys?

I know I am getting more heat for my money with wood pellets and when they drop to approx $200.00 per ton, I will make my buy for next year and definately save money!!!

The latest Oil price from the lowest place in the area called Haffner's is $2.549 per gallon
See Price for fillups >> http://www.haffnersoil.com/oil_order_form.htm

From US Energy Information and Administration Propane as of March 15 is $2.993 per Gallon.

I have a great heat calculator spread sheet I can email you if you would like the cost per million btus broken down by fuel. You can even punch in the efficiency of your oil burner and pellet stove. It is one of the most unbiased charts I could find. If you or anyone else wants a copy, just email me at [email protected]

The price for the firewood is on the high side, I see it run across the board but $325 for a cord of wood is rediculous and $425 for kiln dried is just stupid!

P.S. good price on the Appling Pellets

That price for crappy ACP pellets is still way too high, IMO. If it was down near $175-180, I might put up with their poor performace.
